After about 2 kilometers, turn left onto the road leading to Peacock's Rock. Follow the signs for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the entrance point at coordinates 6.13578, 81.1444056. There is usually no entrance fee, but it’s advisable to check for any updates on accessibility.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, you can take a local bus from Hambantota bus station heading towards the coast. Look for buses that go to 'Godawaya' or 'Tissamaharama' as they pass near Peacock's Rock. Inform the bus conductor to drop you off at the nearest stop to the rock. From there, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the rock itself. Be prepared for a small fee if there is a local charge for walking paths or areas around the rock.
