Start your journey from the Hikkaduwa Beach area. Head north along the beach road (Galle Road) until you reach the intersection with the main road (Mahawatta Road). This should take around 10-15 minutes. Once you reach the intersection, turn left onto Mahawatta Road. Continue walking straight for about 600 meters. Look for the Mahawatta Temple on your right at 33A Mahawatta Road. The temple is set back from the road, so keep an eye out for the entrance.

Find a tuk-tuk stand near the Hikkaduwa Beach area. Inform the driver that you want to go to Mahawatta Temple located at 33A Mahawatta Road. The journey should take approximately 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right at the entrance of the temple.

If you're renting a bicycle, start at Hikkaduwa Beach and head north along Galle Road. After about 1 km, turn left onto Mahawatta Road. Continue cycling straight for about 600 meters until you see Mahawatta Temple on your right at 33A Mahawatta Road. Parking for bicycles is usually available near the entrance.
