Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Hikkaduwa, head towards the main road (A2). You can start at Hikkaduwa Beach. Walk along the beach road until you reach the main intersection with the A2 road. Cross the road carefully and continue walking along the A2 in the direction of Galle. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will see the Sīnigama Sri Devol Shrine on your left side. It is situated close to the road, and you will see a sign indicating the entrance.

  • Tuk-Tuk

    If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Hikkaduwa. Just tell the driver 'Sīnigama Sri Devol Shrine' or show them the address (A2). The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on the traffic. The tuk-tuk will drop you off right at the entrance of the shrine.

  • Bicycle

    For a more adventurous option, you can rent a bicycle in Hikkaduwa. Start from the beach area and cycle along the main road (A2) towards Galle. Keep an eye out for the shrine after approximately 1.5 kilometers on your left side. There are bicycle lanes available, making it a pleasant ride.
