Walking
From Hikkaduwa town center, head east towards the Galle Road (A2) which is the main road. Walk along the Galle Road for about 1.5 kilometers, passing by local shops and cafés. Keep an eye out for the Balapitiya sign on the left. After walking for approximately 15-20 minutes, you will reach the town of Balapitiya. Continue walking straight until you reach the Balapitiya bus station.

Bus
At the Balapitiya bus station, look for buses heading towards Ambalangoda or Galle. Buses are frequent, and you can catch one without much wait. The ride will take about 20-30 minutes. Inform the conductor that you want to get off near the Balapitiya Natural Pool. The bus will drop you off at a point close to the pool.

Walking
Once you get off the bus, head towards the beach area. You should see signs pointing toward the Balapitiya Natural Pool. Walk approximately 200 meters towards the coast, and then follow the path leading to the Natural Pool. It’s about a 5-10 minute walk from the bus stop to reach the pool.
