Car
If you are driving from Matara town, head west on the Matara - Colombo Main Road (A2) for approximately 8 kilometers. When you reach the town of Mirissa, look for signs directing you towards Mirissa Beach. Turn left onto the Mirissa Beach Road and continue straight until you reach the beach area. From the beach, you will see Parrot Rock directly ahead. Park your vehicle in one of the nearby parking areas and walk towards the rock formation.

Public Transportation
To reach Parrot Rock via public transportation, take a bus from Matara Bus Station heading towards Mirissa. Buses to Mirissa are frequent and will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Mirissa, disembark at the Mirissa Beach stop. From there, walk towards the beach, and Parrot Rock will be visible. It’s a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop to the rock formation.
