Getting There

Walking
From the Jaffna Clock Tower, head southeast on Hospital Road. Continue straight until you reach the junction at Jaffna Fort. Turn left onto Main Street (also known as Jaffna-Kankesanturai Road) and walk towards the Pannai Bridge. Cross the Pannai Bridge; you'll have beautiful views of the lagoon. Once you cross the bridge, follow the road as it curves to the right (Jaffna-Pannai-Kayts Road). The Jaffna Lagoon Area will be on your left side after approximately 1 km.

Rent a bicycle at one of the rental shops near the Jaffna Clock Tower. Start from the Clock Tower and head southeast on Hospital Road. Continue straight until you reach the junction at Jaffna Fort. Turn left onto Main Street (Jaffna-Kankesanturai Road) and cycle towards the Pannai Bridge. Cross the Pannai Bridge and follow the road as it curves to the right (Jaffna-Pannai-Kayts Road).
