    If you are starting from Jaffna Fort, head southeast towards Hospital Road. Continue on Hospital Road until you reach the intersection with Clock Tower Road. Turn left onto Clock Tower Road, and continue walking straight. After about 10-15 minutes, you will see the Jaffna Public Library on your right, located at M266+VP2. It's a distinctive building and one of the most notable landmarks in Jaffna.

    From the Jaffna Bus Station, exit the station and head south towards Vembadi Road. Turn right onto Vembadi Road and continue until you reach the junction with Clock Tower Road. Turn left onto Clock Tower Road. Walk straight for about 1 km, and you will find the Jaffna Public Library on your left, marked at M266+VP2.

    If you are near the Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil, exit the temple grounds and head east towards the main road.
