    Walking

    If you are starting from Jaffna Fort, head south on Hospital Rd towards Beach Rd. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with KKS Rd. Cross the road and continue straight on KKS Rd for another 1.5 kilometers. Once you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto A9. Walk along A9 for about 1 kilometer, keeping an eye out for the signs pointing towards Kannathiddy Pond. After walking another 300 meters, you'll see a small path on your left leading towards the pond. Follow this path until you arrive at Kannathiddy Pond.

    Bicycle

    From Jaffna Town, rent a bicycle and head towards Jaffna Fort. Once you reach the fort, take a left on Hospital Rd and ride south for about 1 kilometer. At the intersection with KKS Rd, turn right and continue straight on KKS Rd for 1.5 kilometers. When you arrive at the roundabout, take the second exit onto A9. Continue cycling along A9 for 1 kilometer. Look for a sign indicating Kannathiddy Pond and take the left turn onto the small path leading to the pond, which is about 300 meters away.

    Public Transport (Bus)

    From Jaffna Town, head to the main bus station. Look for buses heading towards Kulam. Board the bus and inform the driver you want to go to Kannathiddy Pond. The journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you reach the stop near the pond, get off and walk approximately 300 meters down the small path that leads to Kannathiddy Pond.
