    Walking

    If you are starting from the Jaffna Fort, head southeast towards the town center. Walk along Hospital Road until you reach the junction with Kachcheri Road. Turn right onto Kachcheri Road and continue straight until you see the Jaffna Public Library on your left. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Kandy Road. Turn left onto Kandy Road and walk until you see the sign for Pannai Causeway. Follow the signs as you walk along the road until you reach the causeway.

    Tuk-tuk

    From anywhere in Jaffna, you can easily find a tuk-tuk. Simply tell the driver 'Pannai Causeway' or point to the location on a map. The drivers are familiar with the area and will take you directly to the causeway. The ride should take around 15 minutes depending on traffic.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Jaffna. Start from the Jaffna Fort and cycle along Hospital Road towards the town center. Continue straight on Kachcheri Road until you see the Jaffna Public Library. From there, take Kandy Road and follow the signs for Pannai Causeway. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes.
