Car

If you are driving from Kalutara, take the A2 highway towards Ratnapura. Continue on the A2 for approximately 38 kilometers, passing through towns like Horana and Ingiriya. Once you reach Ratnapura, look for signs directing you to Minee Ella. You will need to navigate through local roads, which may require asking locals for the best route as the signage may be limited. Parking may be available near the attraction.

Public Transport - Bus

From Kalutara, you can catch a bus to Ratnapura from the Kalutara Bus Station. Buses are frequent, and the journey takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Ratnapura, you can take a local tuk-tuk or a three-wheeler to reach Minee Ella. The tuk-tuk ride will take approximately 20 minutes and should cost around 300 LKR.

Another option is to take a train from Kalutara to Ratnapura. Board a train at Kalutara Station heading towards Ratnapura. The train journey may take around 2 hours.
