Tuk-Tuk
From the Kandy city center, find a tuk-tuk stand or ask your hotel to arrange one for you. Inform the driver you want to go to the 'Ambuluwawa Biodiversity Complex' in Gampola. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. You will pass through beautiful landscapes and small villages along the way. The driver will drop you off at the entrance of the complex.

Head to the Kandy bus station, which is located near the city center. Look for buses heading to Gampola; they are frequent. Take a bus that indicates 'Gampola' and pay the fare (around 50 LKR). The bus ride will take about 45 minutes. Once you reach Gampola, get off at the main bus stop and ask locals for directions to 'Ambuluwawa Biodiversity Complex.' It's about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs towards the complex.

If you are staying in the Gampola area, you can walk to the Ambuluwawa Biodiversity Complex. From Gampola town, head towards the Ambuluwawa Trigonometrical Station, which is well-signposted. The walk will take approximately 30 minutes. Follow the road uphill, and you’ll be greeted with beautiful views as you approach the complex.
