Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from Kegalle town, head southeast on the A1 highway towards Gampola. After approximately 15 kilometers, take the exit onto the B10 road towards Gampola. Continue straight for about 6 kilometers until you reach the Ambuluwawa Trigonometrical Station sign. Turn left onto Ambuluwawa ICC Road and follow the signs for about 2 kilometers to reach Tharaka Mandiraya. Ensure to park in the designated area upon arrival.

  • Public Bus

    From Kegalle, board a bus heading to Gampola from the Kegalle bus station. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, costing around 50-100 LKR. Once you arrive in Gampola, look for a local bus or a three-wheeler (tuk-tuk) heading towards Ambuluwawa. The tuk-tuk ride will cost around 200-300 LKR and will take about 15 minutes.
