Start your journey at the Kandy Lake, which is centrally located in Kandy. Head east towards the Kandy City Centre (KCC). From KCC, take the road leading east towards Dharmashoka Mawatha. As you walk, keep an eye out for local shops and eateries to experience the local culture. After approximately 1 km, look for the sign for Dharmashoka Mawatha on your left. Turn onto Dharmashoka Mawatha and continue straight. The Aruppala View Point is located at the end of this road, approximately 500 meters ahead. You'll know you’ve arrived when you see the viewpoint area with a sign indicating Aruppala View Point.

From your location in Kandy, find a nearby tuk-tuk stand or flag down a tuk-tuk. Tell the driver you want to go to Aruppala View Point on Dharmashoka Mawatha. The ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will take you along the main road, and you can enjoy the sights of Kandy as you go.
