Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Kandy Railway Station, exit the station and head towards the main road (A1). Turn left and walk along the road for about 1.5 km until you reach the Kandy Lake. At the lake, turn right and continue walking along the path surrounding the lake. You will see the Temple of the Tooth on your left. Continue walking past the temple until you reach the Temple Square area. The Museum of the Tusker Rajah is located at 7JVR+PFP, Temple Square, Kandy, so keep an eye out for the signage as you approach.

Tuk-Tuk
If you prefer to take a tuk-tuk, you can easily find one near most hotels or tourist areas in Kandy. Simply tell the driver 'Museum of the Tusker Rajah' or show them the address: 7JVR+PFP, Temple Square, Kandy. The journey should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on a fare before you start your journey.

To reach the Museum of the Tusker Rajah via public bus, find a bus that goes towards the Kandy city center. Most buses will have 'Kandy' displayed on the front. Get off at the Kandy bus station. From there, walk towards the Temple of the Tooth, which is a well-marked landmark. The Museum is located just a short walk from the temple, at 7JVR+PFP, Temple Square.
