Tuk-Tuk
From the Kandy city center, head to the main road (Dalada Veediya) and look for a Tuk-Tuk stand. Tell the driver you want to go to Arangala, specifically to Ruksala wood carving. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Enjoy the scenic views along the way.

The bus ride should take about 30-40 minutes. Once you reach Arangala, get off at the nearest stop and ask locals for directions to Ruksala wood carving, which is well-known in the area.

If you are near Kandy Lake, start by walking towards the Kandy Clock Tower. From there, head south on D. S. Senanayake Veediya. Continue straight until you reach the main road (Peradeniya Road). After about 1.5 kilometers, you can either take a Tuk-Tuk or look for a bus to Arangala. If you choose to walk the entire way, it will take about 40-50 minutes.
