If you are traveling by car, head towards the town of Hunnasgiriya, which is well connected by road. From the center of Hunnasgiriya, take the road leading towards the Knuckles Mountain Range. Follow signs until you reach the coordinates 8R4V+56G on Google Maps. Make sure to park your vehicle in a safe area before starting your trek to the waterfall.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Kandy to Hunnasgiriya. Buses run frequently, and the journey takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Hunnasgiriya, you may need to hire a tuk-tuk or walk towards the waterfall. Inform the tuk-tuk driver to take you to the location at 8R4V+56G. The tuk-tuk ride will cost around 500-1000 LKR depending on your negotiation.
