If you're traveling by car, start from Kandy, which is the nearest major city. Head south on the A26 road towards Udadumbara. After approximately 12 km, you will reach Udadumbara. Once in Udadumbara, look for the CRR4+6RF location on your GPS or maps app. The last part of the journey will involve a narrow road leading towards Thunhisgala. Make sure to drive carefully as the roads can be steep and winding. There is no designated parking area, so park your car safely along the roadside.
Public Transportation
To reach Thunhisgala using public transportation, take a bus from Kandy to Udadumbara. Buses frequently run from the Kandy bus station to Udadumbara; the fare is approximately LKR 50-100.
