Car
If you are driving, start on the A26 highway towards Hunnasgiriya. From Hunnasgiriya, take the road towards the Knuckles Mountain Range. Follow the signs to Manigala. The road may be narrow and winding, so drive carefully. After about 10 kilometers, look for a sign indicating the entrance to the Manigala trailhead. There is usually ample parking near the trailhead. Note that there might be a small parking fee, typically around LKR 200-300.
Public Transportation
To reach Manigala using public transportation, take a bus from Kandy to Hunnasgiriya. The bus fare is approximately LKR 100-150. Once you arrive in Hunnasgiriya, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you to the Manigala trailhead, which may cost around LKR 500-700. The tuk-tuk ride will take about 20-30 minutes.
