If you're traveling by car, start from Kandy city. Head south on the A26 road for about 30 km until you reach the turn-off to the B40 road towards Ukuwela. Continue on B40 for approximately 15 km, passing through scenic rural landscapes. Look for signs towards Kalalpituya, where you will turn right onto a smaller road. Follow this road for about 5 km until you arrive at Manigala - Knuckles Wadiya Camp site, located at 34/61 Kalalpituya, Ukuwela 21300. Parking is usually available near the camp site.

To reach Manigala - Knuckles Wadiya Camp site via public transportation, take a bus from Kandy to Ukuwela. Buses leave frequently from the Kandy bus station and the journey should take about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Ukuwela, you can hire a tuk-tuk or a local taxi to take you the remaining 10 km to the camp site. Ensure you discuss the fare beforehand; it usually costs around LKR 500-1000 depending on your negotiation skills.
