Getting There
Car
If you are driving from Kandy, take the A1 road towards Matale. Continue on this road until you reach the turn-off to the A26 towards Rattota. Follow the A26 for about 20 km until you reach the village of Rattota. From Rattota, take the B435 road towards Knuckles Mountain Range. After approximately 15 km, you will see signs for Pettigala. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at Bambaragala Temple in Pettigala. Parking is available nearby.

From Kandy, take a bus to Matale. Buses leave frequently from the Kandy bus station and the fare is typically around 100 LKR. Once in Matale, transfer to a bus heading towards Rattota.
