Getting There

Tuk-Tuk
From the city center of Kandy, head towards the Kandy Lake to find a Tuk-Tuk stand. It's located near the Kandy Municipal Council. Once you find a Tuk-Tuk, tell the driver you want to go to Sembuwatta Lake. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views along the way, and ask the driver to drop you at the entrance of Sembuwatta Lake.

Walk to the Kandy bus station, which is close to the city center. Look for buses heading towards Wattegama or Mahiyangana. Ask the conductor to let you know when to get off for Sembuwatta Lake. The bus ride will take about 45 minutes. After getting off, you'll need to walk for about 10-15 minutes along the road until you reach the entrance to Sembuwatta Lake.
