From Kandy, drive towards the Knuckles Mountain Range. Take the A26 highway towards Matale for about 20 km. Look for signs directing you towards the Knuckles Range. Upon reaching the town of Ashtapaththuwa, turn onto the B140 road, which leads to the entrance of the Knuckles Range. The drive will take approximately 1.5 hours. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for mountainous terrain.

From Kandy, take a bus from the Kandy bus station heading to Matale. The bus fare is usually around LKR 100. After about 40 minutes, get off at Ashtapaththuwa. From there, you can hire a tuk-tuk or a local taxi to take you to the Knuckles Mountain Range entrance, which will cost around LKR 500-1000 depending on the distance.
