  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, head towards Kandy city. From Kandy, take the Kandy-Mahiyangana Road (A26) and follow the signs toward the Knuckles Mountain Range. After approximately 30 minutes, keep an eye out for Thangappuwa Road on your left. Turn onto Thangappuwa Rd, and continue for about 3 km until you reach the designated parking area for the Trek in the Knuckles Mountain Range.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach the Trek in the Knuckles Mountain Range via public transportation, start from Kandy city. Take a local bus heading towards Mahiyangana, which can be found at the Kandy Central Bus Station. After about an hour, get off at the stop near Thangappuwa Rd. From there, you can either walk approximately 3 km to the trekking starting point or arrange for a tuk-tuk (which may cost around 300-500 LKR) to take you directly to the Trek.
