Car
If you're driving from Matale town, head towards the A9 highway. Take the A9 road heading north and then turn onto the A1 road towards Kandy. After approximately 11 km, look for signs directing you to the Riverston area. Follow the signs and turn onto the Reverston Tower Lane. Continue for about 6 km, and you'll reach the Riverston View Point. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for hilly terrain, as the roads can be steep and winding.
Public Transportation
Start at the Matale bus station. Take a bus heading towards Kandy and ask the driver to drop you at the turn-off for Riverston. From there, you may need to hire a tuk-tuk or a taxi to take you the remaining distance to Riverston View Point, which is about 6 km away. The bus fare is generally inexpensive, around LKR 50-100, but the tuk-tuk fare may vary, so it’s advisable to negotiate the price beforehand.
