If you are driving from Matara, head east on Matara - Wellamadama Road (A2) for approximately 5 km. Turn left onto Biso Ella Road, which is well marked. Continue straight for about 2 km until you reach the parking area near the waterfall. The last stretch will require a short walk of about 100-150 meters to reach Biso Ella Waterfall.

From Matara Bus Station, take a local bus heading towards Wellamadama. The bus fare is usually around LKR 20-30. Inform the driver to drop you off at the Biso Ella junction. From the junction, you will need to walk about 2 km on Biso Ella Road to reach the waterfall. The last segment will also involve a short walk of 100-150 meters.

You can hire a tuk-tuk from any part of Matara. Negotiate the fare, which typically ranges from LKR 500 to 1000 depending on your starting point. The driver will take you directly to the waterfall entrance, and you will have a short walk of about 100-150 meters from the drop-off point.
