Getting There

Car
If you are driving from Matara town, head east on the A2 road towards Kamburupitiya. After approximately 12 kilometers, turn left onto the Thihagoda - Kamburupitiya - Mawarala - Kotapola Rd. Continue for about 5 kilometers, and you will find Kosgahadola Falls on the right side of the road. Look for a small parking area near the falls.

From Matara Bus Station, take a bus bound for Kamburupitiya. The journey takes around 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you reach Kamburupitiya, transfer to a local bus heading towards Mawarala. Get off at the Mawarala junction, which is about 3 kilometers from the falls. From there, you can either walk or hire a tuk-tuk to take you directly to Kosgahadola Falls. The tuk-tuk ride will cost around 200-300 LKR.
