If you are driving from Matara town, head northeast on the A2 road towards Akuressa. Continue straight for about 8 kilometers. Once you reach Akuressa, take the left at the roundabout onto the B29 road. Follow this road for approximately 4 kilometers until you see signs for Batigama. Turn right onto Batigama road and follow it for about 2 kilometers. You will reach the White Wave Rock, located at coordinates 5.958788, 80.682485. There is limited parking available near the rock.

To reach the White Wave Rock by public transport, start at Matara bus station. Take a bus heading to Akuressa, which runs frequently and costs around 50 LKR. Once you arrive in Akuressa, you can either take a tuk-tuk to Batigama for about 300 LKR or continue by bus on the B29 route. If you choose the bus, make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at Batigama. After that, walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach the White Wave Rock, following the signs or asking locals for directions.
