Tuk-Tuk
From the center of Matara, head towards the main bus station, which is located near the clock tower. Once you reach the bus station, you can hire a tuk-tuk. Inform the driver that you want to go to Midigama Beach. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. The tuk-tuk will drop you off close to the beach entrance.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the Matara clock tower and head south on the Matara - Hambantota Main Road (A2). Continue walking for approximately 3 kilometers until you reach the sign for Midigama Beach. Turn left onto the road leading to the beach. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer, and you will arrive at Midigama Beach.
Public Bus
From the Matara bus station, take a local bus heading towards Weligama. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at Midigama. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you get off the bus, walk towards the beach, which is just a short distance from the bus stop.
