Walking
If you are starting from the Matara Bus Station, head east on Baddegama Road. Walk for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with the Galle Road (A2). Turn left onto Galle Road and continue walking for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass by various shops and restaurants along the way. Once you reach the Koggala area, look for signs directing you to Stilt Fisherman. The fishing pier will be on your right side, and you'll notice the stilt fishermen in the water.

From any location in Matara, you can easily find a tuk-tuk. Tell the driver you want to go to the Stilt Fisherman in Koggala. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Just relax and enjoy the scenic views along the coastal road as you head towards Koggala.

Public Bus
Locate the bus stop near the Matara Bus Station where you can catch a bus heading towards Koggala. Make sure to check the bus schedule. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Inform the conductor you want to get off at the Stilt Fisherman, and they will notify you when you arrive. After disembarking, walk towards the beach, and you will find the fishing pier nearby.
