Walking
If you are in the center of Matara, start at the Matara Bus Station. From the bus station, head south along the Main Street (Galle Road). Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach the junction near the Matara Clock Tower. At the Clock Tower, turn right onto Golden Island Pathway. Follow Golden Island Pathway for approximately 15 minutes. You will see the entrance to the Parewi Duwa Temple on your left, just before the beach area.

If you prefer to take a tuk-tuk, you can find one easily around the Matara Bus Station. Tell the driver 'Parewi Duwa Temple' or point to a map if you have one. The ride will take about 10 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off at the entrance of the temple, located on Golden Island Pathway.
