Start at the main beach area in Mirissa. Head towards the main road, known as Matara Rd. Walk north along Matara Rd for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and eateries on your right. Continue straight, and soon you will see signs directing you to the Martin Wickramasinghe Folk Museum on your left. The museum is located at Matara Rd, Koggala, just before the Koggala Lake area.

From any point in Mirissa, find a tuk-tuk driver (they are usually around the beach area). Tell the driver you want to go to the Martin Wickramasinghe Folk Museum on Matara Rd, Koggala. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. The driver will take you directly to the museum's entrance.

If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Mirissa beach area and head towards the main road, Matara Rd. Turn left and ride north for about 1.5 kilometers.
