Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car in North Central Province, drive towards Habarana, which is well-connected to major towns like Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa. From Anuradhapura, take the A9 road south towards Dambulla. After about 50 km, take the exit towards Habarana on the A11 road. Follow the signs to Habarana, and once you reach the town, look for directional signs leading to Habarana Eco Park. The park's coordinates are approximately 8.0322° N, 80.7519° E. There is no entry fee for parking around the area, but keep some cash for any additional activities inside the park.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from either Anuradhapura or Polonnaruwa to Habarana. Buses leave frequently from both locations, and the fare is typically around 100-200 LKR (Sri Lankan Rupees). Once you arrive at Habarana bus station, you can either walk (approximately 1 km) or take a tuk-tuk (which may cost around 200-300 LKR) to Habarana Eco Park. Be sure to ask the driver to take you to 'Eco Park, Habarana' or show them the location on your phone.

• Tuk-Tuk

  If you're already in Habarana town, a tuk-tuk is a convenient option to reach Habarana Eco Park. You can find tuk-tuks readily available at local hotels or on the streets. The ride should cost approximately 100-200 LKR, depending on your location in Habarana. Make sure to confirm the fare before getting in, and tell the driver to drop you off at the Eco Park.
