Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Jaffna city. Take the A9 highway south towards Vavuniya. Continue on the A9 for approximately 2 hours. Once you reach Vavuniya, switch to the A14 road towards Anuradhapura. Drive for about 2 hours until you reach the junction for the B27 road. Take the B27 towards Yala National Park. Follow the signs to the park entrance. Once inside, follow the park roads until you reach the coordinates (6.376243, 81.562811), where the one Pillars Of Ancient Building is located. Be aware of the park entrance fee, which is approximately 15 USD per foreign adult.

Public Transportation
For public transportation, start from Jaffna bus station and take a bus heading towards Vavuniya. The journey will take approximately 2-3 hours. From Vavuniya, you can find buses that go to Anuradhapura. Get off at Anuradhapura and switch to a bus heading toward Yala National Park. Make sure to inform the driver to drop you off at the park entrance. Once inside the park, you may need to hire a jeep or take a guided tour to reach the one Pillars Of Ancient Building, as public transport does not operate within the park. The total cost for bus fares should be around 10-15 USD.
