If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Nuwara Eliya. Head north on the A5 road towards Kandy. After approximately 5 kilometers, look for a sign indicating the turnoff for Devon Waterfall. Turn left onto the road leading to the waterfall viewpoint. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers, and you will arrive at Devon Waterfall View Point 2 (WJXM+M6H). There is parking available near the viewpoint.
Public Transportation
To reach Devon Waterfall View Point 2 by public transportation, take a local bus from the Nuwara Eliya bus stand heading towards Kandy. Inform the bus driver that you would like to get off at the stop for Devon Waterfall. The bus ride takes about 20-30 minutes. Once you disembark, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers along the road leading to the viewpoint. Look for signs pointing towards the waterfall along the way.
Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service
Alternatively, you can hire a taxi or use a ride-hailing service like PickMe from anywhere in Nuwara Eliya. This option offers a more direct route to the viewpoint and will take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Expect to pay around 500-1000 LKR for the ride.
