Getting there

Car

If you're driving from Nuwara Eliya town, head southwest on the A7 road toward Kandy. Continue on the A7 for about 6 kilometers. As you approach the town of Maskeliya, look for the signposts indicating the direction to Moray Falls. Take a left turn onto the B450 road towards Maskeliya. Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers, and you will see an entrance to the falls on your left. There is usually no entrance fee, but parking may cost around LKR 100-200.

Public Transportation

To reach Moray Falls via public transport, start by taking a bus from Nuwara Eliya to Maskeliya. Buses depart regularly from the main bus station. The fare is typically around LKR 50-100, and the journey takes about 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in Maskeliya, you can either take a tuk-tuk or walk to the falls. Tuk-tuks will charge approximately LKR 200-300 for the ride to Moray Falls, which is about 5 kilometers from the town.

Trekking
