Walking
From the center of Nuwara Eliya, head towards the main road (A5). Walk towards the direction of the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club. Continue straight along the A5 road for about 8 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Ramboda. Once you reach Ramboda, you will see a small sign for Devathura Ella Falls on your left. The falls are approximately 300 meters from the main road, so you will need to walk down a small path to reach the viewing area.
Tuk-Tuk
Find a tuk-tuk near the Nuwara Eliya Post Office or any popular tourist area. Tell the driver that you want to go to Devathura Ella Falls in Ramboda. The driver will take you along the A5 road towards Ramboda, which is about 8 kilometers away. Upon arrival, the driver can drop you off near the sign for Devathura Ella Falls. From the drop-off point, it is a short walk down a path to the falls.
Public Bus
Head to the Nuwara Eliya bus station and catch a bus heading towards Kandy. Inform the conductor that you would like to get off at Ramboda. The bus will take you along the A5 road, and the journey will take about 30 minutes. When you reach Ramboda, get off at the bus stop. From there, walk towards the direction of the falls, which are approximately 300 meters away. Look for the sign directing you to Devathura Ella Falls.
