    If you are in the center of Nuwara Eliya, head towards the Nuwara Eliya Post Office. From there, take the main road, also known as the A5 highway, towards Haputale. Continue walking until you reach the junction of the A5 and the B25 road. At this point, you will see signs for Lipton's Seat. Follow the B25 road uphill for approximately 8 kilometers. You will pass scenic tea estates along the way. Once you see the sign for Dambethenna Estate and Lipton Seat Road, turn left and continue on this road. Lipton's Seat will be on your right after about 2 kilometers.

  • Tuk-Tuk

    From your location in Nuwara Eliya, find a nearby tuk-tuk stand or simply flag down a tuk-tuk. Communicate that you want to go to Lipton's Seat, which is in Haputale. The driver will take you via the A5 road towards Haputale. Expect the ride to take about 30 to 40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Haputale, ask the driver to take you to Dambethenna Estate on Lipton Seat Road. They will know the route and can drop you off directly at the entrance of Lipton's Seat.
