Kandy to Nanu Oya train ride on (Train No: 1005 "Podi Menike")
Lovely
A nice train ride but very long. Scenery is lovely and gives a different perspective of Sri Lanka. It was a comfortable ride in 1st class as it has AC. Snacks and drinks reasonably priced. Make sure you book early and take your passport, it will get checked.

Potkali jsme Divana hned po příjezdu na nádraží a okamžitě si nás získal svým přátelským a proaktivním přístupem i férovými cenami. Díky němu jsme strávili celé odpoledne v Nuwara Eliya plné nezapomenutelných zážitků. Je to zkušený a spolehlivý řidič, který zná okolí opravdu skvěle a rád se podělí o své znalosti. Navíc byl neuvěřitelně ochotný a milý – pomohl nám se vším, co jsme potřebovali. Pokud se chystáte do této oblasti, doporučujeme ho všemi deseti. Byly jsme maximálně spokojené! :)
