Car
If you are driving from Puttalam town, head north on the A12 road towards Eluwankulama. Continue for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the junction for Eluwankulama. Turn left onto the road leading into Eluwankulama. After about 2 kilometers, you will see signs for Uchumunei Beach. Follow these signs, and in another 3 kilometers, you will arrive at Uchumunei Beach, which is located at the address 9QMP+74.

Public Bus
To reach Uchumunei Beach by public bus, start at the Puttalam bus station. Board a bus heading to Eluwankulama. The fare is approximately 50 LKR. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you reach Eluwankulama, you may need to take a tuk-tuk for the final 5 kilometers to Uchumunei Beach, which should cost around 200 LKR. Make sure to ask the tuk-tuk driver to take you to 9QMP+74, where the beach is located.
