Getting There

  • Car

    If you have a car, start your journey from Ratnapura, the capital of Sabaragamuwa Province. Take the A4 highway heading towards Balangoda. After approximately 25 km, turn left onto the A7 road towards Hatton. Continue on the A7 for about 30 km until you reach the town of Maskeliya. From Maskeliya, follow the signs for Sri Pada / Adam's Peak. The road will lead you directly to the base of the mountain where you can find parking facilities. Be aware that parking may incur a fee, typically around LKR 100-200.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Sri Pada using public transport, take a bus from Ratnapura to Balangoda. From Balangoda, transfer to a bus heading to Hatton. Upon reaching Hatton, look for a bus to Maskeliya. Once in Maskeliya, you can either take a tuk-tuk or walk to the base of Sri Pada. The total bus fare from Ratnapura to Maskeliya should be around LKR 150-300.
