Getting There

Tuk-Tuk
From the center of Sigiriya, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you to Hiriwadunna Village. Head to the main road and look for tuk-tuk drivers; they are usually waiting near the entrance to the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Instruct the driver to take you to 'Hiriwadunna SAFARI No 4', which is approximately a 15-20 minute ride, depending on traffic. Enjoy the scenic views along the way.

If you prefer to take public transport, walk to the main bus station in Sigiriya, located near the entrance to the Rock Fortress. Look for a bus heading towards Hiriwadunna or Dambulla. Make sure to ask the conductor to drop you off at Hiriwadunna. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Hiriwadunna, it's a short walk to 'Hiriwadunna SAFARI No 4'.

For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bicycle from shops in Sigiriya. Once you have your bike, head towards the Hiriwadunna area by following the main road that leads out of Sigiriya. The distance is roughly 7 km, and the ride will take about 30-40 minutes. Follow the signs towards Hiriwadunna and you will arrive at 'Hiriwadunna SAFARI No 4'.
