Car
If you are driving from Kandy, take the A1 highway south towards Colombo. After about 90 kilometers, you will reach Dambulla. At Dambulla, turn onto the A9 highway heading towards Sigiriya. Continue on the A9 for about 20 kilometers until you reach Sigiriya. Look for signs directing you to Sigiriya Lion Rock. There is a parking area available near the entrance, and the entrance fee for adults is approximately 4,000 LKR.

From Kandy, you can take a bus to Dambulla. Buses leave frequently from the Kandy bus station, and the journey takes about 2.5 hours.
