Getting There

  • Tuk-Tuk

    From Sigiriya, head to the main road (Dambulla-Sigiriya Road). You can catch a tuk-tuk from your hotel or nearby tuk-tuk stand. Ask the driver to take you to Hurulu Eco Park, which is about 14 km away. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. The tuk-tuk will drop you off at the entrance of Hurulu Eco Park on Trincomalee Road.

  • Bus

    Walk to the Sigiriya bus station located near the town center. Look for a bus heading to Habarana. The buses usually leave frequently, so you shouldn't have to wait long. The ride to Habarana will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Habarana, you can catch a tuk-tuk from the bus station to Hurulu Eco Park, which is about 5 km away. The tuk-tuk ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes.

  • Bicycle Rental

    If you're feeling adventurous, consider renting a bicycle. Head to one of the local bicycle rental shops in Sigiriya. Once you have your bike, take the Dambulla-Sigiriya Road towards Habarana.
