Walking
From the center of Sigiriya, head south on the main road (Sigiriya - Dambulla Road) towards Dambulla. Walk for about 5 kilometers until you reach the fork in the road at the Illukkumbura junction. Take the left fork (Illukkumbura Road) and continue straight for another 2 kilometers. You'll see signs for Sera Ella Waterfall along the way. The waterfall is located on your right side, just after a small bridge.

Tuk-Tuk
Hail a tuk-tuk from any point in Sigiriya. Tell the driver you want to go to Sera Ella Waterfall in Illukkumbura. The drive will take approximately 15-20 minutes. They will take you south on the Sigiriya - Dambulla Road, then turn left at the Illukkumbura junction onto Illukkumbura Road. You can ask the driver to drop you off at the waterfall entrance where you will find a small path leading to the waterfall.

Bicycle
If you rent a bicycle in Sigiriya, head south on the Sigiriya - Dambulla Road. Keep pedaling for about 5 kilometers until you reach the Illukkumbura junction. Take the left fork onto Illukkumbura Road and cycle for another 2 kilometers. The Sera Ella Waterfall is just off the road on your right. Be cautious while cycling, as the roads can have some traffic.
