    Getting There

    Walking

    From Sigiriya Rock Fortress, head south toward the main road (Dambulla - Sigiriya Road). Once you reach the main road, turn left and walk along the road for about 3 kilometers. You will pass a few small shops and local houses. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating Pitawala Nature Trail. When you see the sign, follow the path to the right that leads into the nature trail area.

    Tuk-Tuk

    If you prefer to take a tuk-tuk, you can easily find one near Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Tell the driver you want to go to Pitawala Nature Trail. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes. The driver will drop you off at the entrance of the trail. Make sure to agree on a return pick-up time with the driver.

    Bicycle

    If you are feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the shops in Sigiriya. Start by cycling south on the main road (Dambulla - Sigiriya Road) for approximately 3 kilometers. Look for the sign for Pitawala Nature Trail, then take the path to the right that leads into the trail area. Enjoy the scenic ride!
