If you are in the center of Sigiriya, start by heading towards the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. From the entrance of the fortress, take the path leading towards the main road (A1). Once you reach the A1 road, turn left and walk along the roadside. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the junction leading to Rattota. Continue straight onto the road that leads to Attanwela. After about 3 kilometers, keep an eye out for signs indicating the direction to Pitawala Pathana. Follow the signs, and you will eventually arrive at the ecological park.

From your location in Sigiriya, find a nearby tuk-tuk stand, or ask your hotel to arrange one for you. Inform the driver that you would like to go to Pitawala Pathana, Riverston. The journey should take approximately 30 minutes. The driver will take you along the A1 road towards Rattota, then continue on the route to Attanwela.
