Car
If you are driving to Safari in Sri Lanka Udawalawe, take the A4 road towards Udawalawa. Follow the signs for Udawalawe National Park. Once in Udawalawa, proceed to Saiban Road. The safari location is situated on Saiban Road, approximately 1 km from the main entrance of the national park. Look for the signs indicating the safari area as you approach.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Colombo, you can take a bus to Thanamalwila or a direct bus to Udawalawa. Once you arrive at the Udawalawa bus station, you can either walk or take a tuk-tuk (three-wheeler) to Saiban Road. The distance is about 1.5 km. A tuk-tuk ride will cost approximately 300 LKR. Inform the driver that you need to go to 'Safari in Sri Lanka Udawalawe' on Saiban Road.
Tuk-tuk
If you are already within Udawalwe National Park or nearby, you can hire a tuk-tuk from your accommodation or a nearby location. Simply provide the driver with the address: 'Saiban Road, Udawalawa 70190'. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it should be around 200-500 LKR depending on the distance.
