Car

From Colombo, take the E03 expressway towards Kandy. After approximately 80 km, take the Kadugannawa exit. Continue on the A1 road for about 3 km until you reach Kadugannawa. Look for the 7G28+J47 location, and you will find Balumgala nearby. Parking is available along the roadside.

Public Transportation

From Colombo, take a train from Colombo Fort Station to Kandy. The train journey takes about 2.5 to 3 hours. Once you arrive at Kandy Station, take a local bus heading towards Kadugannawa (bus fare approximately LKR 50). Get off at the Kadugannawa bus stop and walk towards 7G28+J47 (approximately 1.5 km), or you can take a tuk-tuk for about LKR 200 to reach Balumgala directly.

Tuk-tuk

If you are already in Kadugannawa, you can hire a tuk-tuk to Balumgala. The fare should be around LKR 300 to LKR 500 depending on your starting point in Kadugannawa. Ensure to negotiate the price before starting the journey.
