Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving, start on the Colombo - Katunayake Expressway (E03) from any location in the Western Province. Follow the signs to Colombo. Once you enter the city, take the exit towards Colombo 7/Cinnamon Gardens. Continue straight on the Sir James Peiris Mawatha. After about 1.5 km, you will see Viharamahadevi Park on your left. There is parking available near the park, but be prepared to pay a small fee, usually around LKR 100-200.

  • Public Bus

    Catch a bus from your nearest bus station heading to Colombo. Look for buses that go towards Colombo Fort or any bus that stops at Colombo 7. Depending on your location, bus fare should be between LKR 30 to LKR 100. Once you arrive at the Colombo Fort bus station, take another local bus or a tuk-tuk towards Cinnamon Gardens. Alternatively, you can walk from Fort to the park; it’s about 2 km and will take around 20-30 minutes.
