Car
If you're driving, set your GPS to the coordinates 7.0586, 80.6988. From Kandy, take the A26 road towards Nuwara Eliya. After about 20 km, turn right onto the A5 road towards Ramboda. Continue straight for around 7 km until you see a sign for Devathura Ella Falls. Park your car in the designated area, and follow the signs to the falls, which is about a 15-minute walk down a path.
Public Transportation
To reach Devathura Ella Falls using public transport, board a bus from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya, which costs around 150 LKR. Inform the conductor to drop you off at Ramboda. From the bus stop, it’s about a 3 km walk to the falls. You can hire a tuk-tuk for about 500 LKR if you prefer not to walk. Upon arrival, follow the signs to the falls, which is a short hike from the main road.
Tuk-Tuk
If you are in the vicinity of Ramboda and want a more direct route, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you to Devathura Ella Falls. The fare ranges from 300 to 600 LKR depending on your starting point in Ramboda. Confirm the price before starting your journey. The tuk-tuk ride will take about 10 minutes.
Walking
If you are already in the Ramboda area, you can walk to Devathura Ella Falls. From the main road, head towards the direction of the falls, which is approximately 3 km away. Follow the signs and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. The path is relatively easy to navigate.
